"Elegy For Fallen Gods" campaign
"Elegy For Fallen Gods" campaign
While I posted this on the VBAM mailing list, I figured I could also add a copy here.
The VBAM: Elegy For Fallen Gods campaign gives you the chance to command Colonial or Cylon forces during the original Cylon rebellion, decades before the events shown in the (re-imagined) series take place.
The Cylons were created by Man.
They Evolved.
They Rebelled.
There are many copies.
And they have a Plan.
The Cylons were created to make life easier on the Twelve Colonies. And then the day came when the Cylons decided to kill their masters. A long and bloody struggle followed. Now, for the first time since the rebellion the Colonial Fleet was confident. The biggest Cylon combat formations had been beaten and it only seemed to be a matter of time before the last "toaster" would be unplugged - permanently. But there were those persistent rumors that Cylon transports were leaving the system to establish a new base of operations beyond the Cyranus system...

Yeah but in old school you get to sit in oversized spinning chairs in gigantic yet dark chambers and everyone says "By your command". What more could you want?MarkG88 wrote:
It's old school BSG, so no sexy Number Sixes flouncing around so I'll stick with the "human" humans hehe.

She'd look healthier if she'd eat a couple cheeseburgers once in a while. Maybe toasters have a problem processing fried food.MarkG88 wrote:mwaschak wrote:Boo Cylons! Boo !MarkG88 wrote: Colonials would be first choice.

Mmmmmm cheeseburgers *drools* Hehe. Yes she is a over-tall, over-thin model, but I'm ok with that. I was impressed with whole Number Six story line though, she's not just there for fluff she can act.

Me neither but she was a Canadian model first [notice I didn't say "supermodel" now there is a tired, trite, over-hyped b-s word], so she has an "excuse" hehe. I'm really against the whole thin = good looking thing too and I'd be glad to feed Tricia Helfer cheeseburgers anytime. Her acting chops are considerable which is a credit to her, she's done some really non-glamorous things with her roll on the show (the traumatized Number Six on Pegasus was very well done).Charles Lewis wrote:Oh, she is definitely a good actress. I'm just not a big fan of the 'Hollywood Anorexic' look.
