Note about campaign name:
I've run out of suitably epic-sounding names, so I used a phrase that appeared in Space: 1999, I believe. The only episode I remember vaguely...
After this campaign I'll probably start using comedians names. So, expect campaign "O'Briain" soon...
Anyway, back to the campaign.
Starting Conditions
One INT-1 power--the United Star Kingdom. Starting off with a TDP of 104 (wartime), a trade income of 10 and maintenance of 59 (full maintenance is actually 63 but some vessels have been placed in reserve)
The USK has activated a small splinter colony by the name of the Republic of New Guyana. This splinter has a TDP of 1, and a maintenance of 1 (three flights of heavy fighters).
Relations between the two are extremely good, and are in a Partnership.
3000.01
The USK exploration fleet explores a new system, a minor colony with a total RAW of 6 (5 for the actual system, 1 for the dense asteroid field). Not only that, but there are extensive ancient ruins and an automated factory in the system. This system is given priority of colonisation.
The RNG formally petitions for membership of the USK, which is accepted.
3000.02
The former RNG votes to move wholesale to the new system. Despite a few dissenting voices, the RNG wants to leave the resource-poor system and move to a system that promises a very lucrative future.
3000.03-06
During this time period, the colony of New Exeter is founded. The two census living on New Guyana as well as the sole census on-board the colony fleet live in the system and there is full employment. System defences are taken over in 3000.04 by the trade escort of three Temeraires.
3000.05
The exploration fleet is allowed to continue exploring after finishing its stint as defence for New Exeter. The fleet discovers another system, an outpost. More impressive, however, is the huge raider cache on one of the very small planets in the system. 43 EP makes its way into the USK treasury.
3000.06
The exploration fleet returns to New Exeter.
3000.07
The exploration fleet activates the Free Stellar Bailiwick. This power is fairly large, comprising of two large splinters. The two powers are very friendly.
3000.08
The exploration fleet returns to New Exeter.
3000.09
The fleet strikes lucky again, this time discovering a colony-equivalent system. It is mineral rich (6) and will be colonised as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the USK and FSB sign a NAP and PT.
3000.10
The USK increases productivity at New London to 8.
The system of New Exeter finally constructs its own Temeraire frigates to enable the trade escort to return to its duties.
The USK and FSB both propose an MDT which is duly signed.
Home Fleet activates the last units in the reserve. All of the USK's formations are now on active duty.
3000.11
The exploration fleet discovers a new system. It is quite interesting and has been given a beta-level for purposes of colonising.
