Ok, after some feedback we are going to go with the setting with two antagonists engaged along a frontier. There will be room to explore, but there will be two teams and possibly a few independent parties.

So, we need a team leader for the warlike Fereni and a few warlords and an admiral to run the various Terran commodores. I am thinking maybe three per team. Volunteers?

I will take an independent slot if one is open. I am getting caught up on the 2e rules right now, and hopefully over the long weekend I can get through them completely.

Hmmm, normally everyone likes to be the crazy warlords. Ok, I will give it a few days to see if anyone else wants in. It should be a relatively easy game to play for newbies. I am hoping for a lot of RP, like the first time we tackled the genre.

I am working on a 2e style of the old turn update sheets to help standardize the turns.

Is there somewhere I missed where there's a link to information about the setting we'll be playing in? If there's going to be any RP aspect to it, it'd be cool to know what a "Fereni" is and why I'd want to be one of their warlords.
