Just wanted to check something.

If Wing 1 clears an area and moves on Wing 2 is supposed to recheck the area if the enter later, but not if Wing 1 is still there?

No. Once an area has been checked and determined to be clear, you never have to recheck.

That may be the easiests. In fact if you guys want I could make a few and post them on the site, or at least include in them in the WW:II or WoM expansion. What do you think?

I should have room for those in the MTO counters. I don't think a lot of ground unit counters are being added, so there should be room to add stuff like that.

Yeah you won't need SAM or RADAR sites. However we could do more ground targets if you wanted to add more variety that way. I imagine the number of ships is the same although the profile will change.

MAS WWII MTO has 14 naval units including CVs, CVLs, CVEs, and BBs, for "large naval" targets for mission objectives. Also, don't forget, it has ground units: infantry, motor inf, mech inf, armor, and ground support units (5 types). So although you are losing DDGs and CGs and RADAR and SAM, you are gaining a few things in their place. Therefore the overall ground unit counter mix may be close to MAS after all.

Hmm .....

Page 14 of the rules 4.3 Mission Threat Level:

"Roll a d6 each time any Wing counter enters a band. If one Wing remains behind, it must also check again when it moves."

What is right and what is wrong ? I think the first post of myrm was really good.

I thought we had dropped that rule, but I may be wrong. Jay, can you weigh in on this?

Oh yes, we decided to drop that rule.

Once a band is clear a band is clear, unless changed by some scenario rules.

It was the rule Frank cites that made me think I had to re-check. I was actually wondering if it meant you had to recheck if Wing 2 moved into any area, or if it meant that Wing 2 entering Wing 1's space during a fight might draw in more enemy to the unresolved band.

I was quite surprised when it came back as 'nope, clear once clear'

I'll go draw a black line through that section.
