VBAM Games Forums

Ok, I'm looking at incorporating Dirtside II for ground engagements into a possible VBAM Campaign, utilizing the points system on pages 52 and 53 of Dirtside. However, this begs the question. How many Dirtside points should each VBAM Attrition point equal? To set a baseline, a basic 5 man rifle team at Line quality in Dirtside is 20 points, and an example tracked Medium Battle Tank is worth 172 points. (Dirtside 2, page 53)

Edit: Ok, upon further thought, I realize that this won't be a rock solid number. I'm more looking for some guidelines. I know that come campaigns would have a greater emphasis on ground combat than others (Hammer's Slammers versus Honorverse, for example...)

Ground units in VBAM have always been fuzzy in terms of size. It boils down to how big a unit do you want them to be?
