158 pages? That ain't so big. I mean the SFB rulebook is what, 500 pages or something? I know a lot of that is scenarios and ship descriptions but seems a lot of those 158 FA pages are scenarios as well. Obviously I can't blame ADB for putting their own products first, who could, but seems this talk...

Pretty much what I thought. It was never going to be the case that sorting out and printing somebody else's product would take a place in the queue in front of any of their own stuff. Just how big is the book? That might explain the playtesters' possible concerns about accessibility to non-VBAM play...

No, it doesn't say why. I haven't followed it closely at the ADB boards but the odd comment or two leads me to believe the playtesters thought it was hard to get into if you'd not played VBAM before.

I see from the latest ADB newsletter that Fed Admiral has gone back into development and might be added to the November or December schedule if it's ready.

I guess the realistic view now is that it will be next year.

Yes, it will be 100% suitable to PBeM play. It's being published by ADB, not by us, so the formats the book will be available in is entirely up to them. Awesome! I'm even more fired up now!! Just a quick question: will Federation Admiral be suitable for 100% PBM play or will there be some element in it that requires face-to-face interaction?

I'm so looking forward to this product!
