Re: Rules queries.
Go with S4 H2. I don't have my copy with me at the moment, but they should stat-wise be slightly better than the mk 82s. Will do. I am glad to hear it is going well! If you have any questions, you know where to find us. We are working on expansions and supporting the original product so stay tuned ...

Re: Rules queries.
1) Mk83 1000lb bombs. These seem identical in stats to the Mk 82s, but require more hardpoints and cost more....what benefit are we missing for them, if any? There seems no reason to buy them The 1000 lber's are some of the most economical bombs in the game for the right mission. The stats are slig...

Rules queries.
OK ran through the first campaign with my 5 pilots, and the first couple of missions of the 2nd campaign and a number of queries came up. 1) Mk83 1000lb bombs. These seem identical in stats to the Mk 82s, but require more hardpoints and cost more....what benefit are we missing for them, if any? Ther...

For a bunch of the more neutral or losing powers Greece AEKKEA-RAAB R-29 Greece and Turkey used the Polish PZL-P24 Yugoslavia used their own Rogozarski IK-3 OK early war planes, and most forces then updated with Axis, Allied or both materiel (or were outta the war). But this gives a bit more Mercena...

It was the rule Frank cites that made me think I had to re-check. I was actually wondering if it meant you had to recheck if Wing 2 moved into any area, or if it meant that Wing 2 entering Wing 1's space during a fight might draw in more enemy to the unresolved band. I was quite surprised when it ca...

Im hoping that that selection (at least some of the Marks produced for a given airframe) do fall into the sort of bracket where the stats don't go wonky :) It may need some testing but you should be ok as long as you establish a firm baseline. Personally I spent a lot of time looking at the F-4 (Na...

I was trying to stay reasonably within modern, post- Vietnam since the worst plane already in seems to be the Mig17. Flight leader covered all planes from the De Haviland Vampire up to mid 80s aircraft and those projected for late 80s service, I tried to aim for more recent ones than the Mig17... Of...

My plan was to dig out my copy of Avalon Hill's Flight Leader, read the aircraft summary pages (all 5 of them) and then make my own stats based on those data. The availability was gonna be based on length of time in service and the number of nations exported to. :) I'd love to see such aircraft as t...

Following waves
Just wanted to check something.
If Wing 1 clears an area and moves on Wing 2 is supposed to recheck the area if the enter later, but not if Wing 1 is still there?

Ive just downloaded the errata and trimmed them out One thing: The Mk83 1000lb bomb was changed to make its stats match the tables (S:3 H:1) not the counters (S:4 H:2) but I couldnt see any of that bomb type in the Ordanance PDF (Ive already modified mine separately but you might want to add them). ...
