Excellent news that the game is coming out. Although the rules for NPEs and low-tech powers will appear in 'A Distant Star', will they still be fully compatible with multi-player play for those who want to use them for that?

With regard to the ability to transport strategic resources between systems, the 1E rules weren't that complicated. Granted the representation of internal trade fleets that they used has now gone, but perhaps allowing transport within a system's supply radius wouldn't complicate things too much. At ...

What is boils down to is that offering chance replaces Xenophobia, breaking chance replaces Integrity, and declaring chance replaces Aggressiveness. Can I just say that I also am worried that what appears to be an admirable desire to keep the game as streamlined and simple as possible is perhaps in some places being pushed a bit too far, and runs the risk of making some areas of the game simplistic, or maybe turn them into abstract book keeping ...
