I'm most interested in the local campaign rules as well. They sound like what we've been wanting to play for a few years now.

Hopefully we'll see something soon.

Hopefully there will be some movement on FA soon, I for one can't wait to see it!

To say I'm disappointed at the delay of the release of FA is an understatement. I am soooo looking forward to getting a copy and preparing a local campaign. Oh well, my opponent wouldn't be able to play until after the first of the year anyway; otherwise, I'm sure we'd have signed up for playtesting.

Oh well, it'll probably be after the first of the year before our group would be able to do a campaign anyway. Doesn't change the fact that I'd love to have it in hand before then to study.

We are getting there! I am starting to go over some material I am putting together for the launch event, like an online campaign and some new scenarios (The Expedition, The Dissenter). Thank you, -Jay Cool! Can't wait to see it all! I even put a countdown clock for in on my Myspace page.

They sure are, but actually I've been thinking more about repair tugs and, to a lesser extent, hospital ships.

The local campaign sounds great to me! One of my friends and I have been talking about doing a campaign for a long time, one that could be partially played by email in between our face-to-face games, and that would be an excellent way to do it I think. Of course, I haven't seen the rules or anything...
