VBAM On Social Media

As I'm getting very close to putting the final touches on the 2E Campaign Guide and starting layout during the final testing and review phase, I decided to sit down today and finally establish a social media presence for VBAM Games on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. Here are the accounts:

Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/VBAMGames

Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/vbamgames

Google+: https://plus.google.com/b/107123952027211111321/

I'll be modernizing quite a bit of VBAM's web presence as we get closer to the 2E launch. This includes a new website and updated store software. We'll also probably be making a jump to a new web host within the next few months, too, but I'll give ample warning before that happens. That transition probably won't happen until I have the new store software ready for deployment so that we can get everything up and running all at once.

I'll try to post tidbits to the social media accounts throughout the week. Best bet is that Twitter will see the most activity as I post small updates while I's working on the VBAM rules.

Lets hope that the new site is a little more secure. :D

Auto Draft in the blog dated 9th March is reported to bear Heur Trojan script (general).

Thanks for the heads up, Paul. Our web host has been having horrendous security problems, and it's becoming a game of whack-a-mole. Being a WordPress install makes it all the more of a problem, but it was fully patched as of earlier this week. Sigh.

UPDATE: I have fixed the problem on the blog by restoring from a previous backup and then repatching. It should be taken care of now.

It is nice to have the other venues of discussion, but the blog, mailing list, and the forums are consistently our most active discussion centers. Although it seems people tend to favor the forums over the Yahoo Group these days.
