How's it all going?

Post by Gareth_Perkins »

Hey there guys,

Seems like it's been a few months since we had any news (June or so?)?

How are things going with VBAM 2e and VBAM Fed Admiral?

Fine, thank you for asking :) .

Federation Admiral is sitting on SVC's desk. I think work resumes when Captain's Log 42 is done. Unlike FA, the Captain's Log series has a regular release date.

2e also forges ahead. I am reading some of Tyrel's latest changes. I believe he is putting together some more changes for another playtest release.

This is not an official answer...

Federation Admiral is, I believe, VBAM but tailored specifically to the Star Fleet Universe background (and particularly the Federation Commander game system in the SFU). You should be able to take other VBAM expansions and rules and use them in your Federation Admiral campaign. Or take things from Federation Admiral and use them in other VBAM campaigns, if you wanted to.

Klingon Armada is basically Starmada with Trek ships, so you could use the Starmada version of VBAM with that product. You could probably use Klingon Armada as a campaign combat resolution system for Federation Admiral, too.
