Major Announcement Coming in February

Post by Tyrel Lohr »

I posted the info over at the blog, but I wanted to just stop in here and quickly mention that VBAM Games will be making a very important announcement next month (February 2009), likely about mid-way through the month.

Once the announcement is ready, we will post news about it to the blog, forums and YahooGroup simultaneously so that everyone will know what is going on. Suffice it to say that the VBAM team is pretty energized, and we're excited about making the news public.

Thanks!

We're making headway behind the scenes, and hopefully the announcement should come in about two weeks. That is about how long it will take to finalize what we are working on.

I can't wait to let the cat out of the bag -- but the preparation has got me positively giddy :)

What, you mean get one past the sign up stage before disappearing under a mountain of work? Naw, not right now :) I still have too many irons in the fire.

I have also learned my lesson that I need to have the scenario and positions all created in advance before trying to start a campaign, so that I don't get bogged down trying to set things up.

You say that like it is a bad thing. :?

I had to google what other possible meanings of that word could be... but, no, I wasn't referring to a toilet :)
