So is this a sign that there's movement to have this published?

Yes. I will try to have more specifics for you soon.

How do you like the Ajax Expanse so far? I am trying to use the setting to create a campaign narrative.

Looks interesting,

What are you using for the maps (I notice that it mentions an on-line tool)?

Will you be running the battles with FedCom or using the CSCR?

Thanks! With 2 players it is pretty easy to keep running too. I want to try another game once the book is out.

I am currently using: http://www.inkwellideas.com/roleplaying ... pher.shtml
to make the maps. Not perfect, but easy to use.

Dale has offered to run the battles locally. I sent some orders for my Klingon ship for the other player.

Interesting read so far... At first I was concerned by the commentary by the Gorn sector Admiral that one of his side missions was unachievable because of distance, but it just highlights the following 'realities' of such a post:

1. Too many missions, not enough ships/time.
2. Out of touch superiors.
3. The need to keep 'reserves' to handle unexpected events.

Right, admirals back home don't know the reality of the situation on the frontier. This is mostly why Local campaigns are an optional part of the game because it changes the nature of how to play FA.

It also doesn't help that this order came in the week after he loaded up all his new colonists, and early in the campaign when he doesn't have the resources he might in 10 or 20 turns.
