Fools Rush In

Post by Tyrel Lohr »

I thought I'd share this old diary for a solo campaign that Charlie Lewis ran back in the 1E days. I thought other people would be interested in revisiting it. It's definitely a classic. :D

I think I still have your other diary here somewhere, too, Charlie! I just have to go digging through the archives of things I have saved from the YahooGroups days. :)

I must admit I enjoyed those campaign diaries. Such a pity you ran into both the Minbari and the Attarn in them--it would have been really nice for some benevolent ally to show up in the 'Fools Rush In' campaign...:)

If only the Attarns hadn't been so flaky, they could've been that ally.

Some NPEs just end up being unreliable, either by unlucky die rolls or a schizophrenic AIX / trait combination. :(

The NEA at least had the Pak'ma'ra as allies, but that probably wouldn't have helped that much against the Minbari. And if the Orieni had decided to renew hostilities in the middle of the Second Earth/Minbari War...

Actually, that might have worked out for you, as long the Orieni and Minbari hated each other, then they could have at least annoyed each other to buy the NEA a little bit of breathing room.
