Just to say v40 is posted.
Carronade weapon ranges now show correctly on the Drake notation.
AB added to basing if Attack Boats are carried.
Minor Tech level tweak which should fix the point or two difference with the official sxca (unless you use Dreadnoughts etc.). I believe the official sxca is still a little behind.
Starmada sheet now has "entries" for KEB armor under hull 13 and for recording docked attack boats.

Any problems or anything which you think could be added please let me know.

DEFSATs over hull 1 shown as Hvy DEFSAT.
Second weapon mode trait was not shown on the Drake notation, now fixed.

New version of the shipyard posted, v2E1
Small craft tech range and levels now match that entered for ships on the Tables page (including those for VBAM 2E)

New section on the templates sheet for VBAM 2E. If ship is for use with 2E change Template cell U94 to "Yes". This changes the mass available, Engine costing and Tech level mods to those shown on this forum for 2E.

If the above cell is left as "no" then nothing changes and the shipyard is still good for Starmada AE ships and VBAM 1E.

The details may change and this intended as a "what do you think?" trial.

Just to let everyone know, shipyard v2E3 has been posted.

Faceted shields did not calculate the cost.
Now fixed.(and checked)

Just to let everyone know, v2E5 and updated Shipyard Guide has been posted.
The 2E section on the template sheet has been updated to design Journal #6.
Items for KA added.
Note new weapon trait Fighter-Exclusive makes weapon battery count towards AF.

Any problems, thoughts,anything really, please let me know.

v2E6 posted due to flaw in OCR, how it happened I do not know. The previous one was ok and I had no reason to change anything in the OCR.

I am getting bugged by this :x

Dual Mode fighters and weapons looks to be mucked up now.
If anyone can explain how parts of a spreadsheet can get "changed" without being touched by me please do.

v2E7 posted just in case yours do not work right.

They can sometimes get "corrected" by excel, if it thinks you have made a mistake,

Can you narrow the problem down to a couple of cells?

Thanks for the offer to check.
I had a whole row of fighter costing which gained an extra cell tacked on to the end of the calcs.
Maybe I should take more frequent breaks when going through spreadsheets.
The Dual mode fighters had a glitch on the template sheet. I think it may be the curse of Klingon Armada. :)
I know just how Dan must be feeling.

BTW everyone, keep checking the Klingon Armada errata thread on mj12.

v2E8 with latest fixes posted all better now (I hope).

I reviewed the Ballistic calculations and made a few tweaks here and there.
Please ignore the 2E section for the time being. Going by the blog for this week the figures will be wrong again until we know the stat changes.

A few changes to version 2E10, the zip file is a folder, there is a brief notes sheet included in the form of a pdf.
New style "bits" added to the starmada sheet, which has had a bit of a tidy up.
(Choose Probes, Shuttles, Tractor Beams and Transporters as Equipment and enter number of Drone Racks required in Template sheet cell C76.- Klingon Armada)

VBAM 2E ship stats has been re-written since the last blog.
VBAM 2E costing can be found for flights entered on the small craft sheet.
Construction area for VBAM 2E flights.
PLease test to your hearts content and let me know if there are any problems.

Guide v24 Updated to include the VBAM 2E (last blog) construction and the "notes" that were included with the last shipyard.

Drake notation updated to include the Klingon Armada equipment and dual mode fighters.
Should be everything now for using with the Starmada Vassel mod.

If there is anything which you think should be in the guide to help anyone new to Starmada, please let me know.

v2E12 just posted.

Error was found in the Equipment choice (from 48th equipment type onwards) for VBAM ships. :oops: Happened when increasing the number of equipment types that could be entered.

Fixed, all seems well now.
