While it would save some space... I do think it could be core to a fair few games, and perhaps laying the groundwork now is a good thing (I know that I plan on using it, and I can't say the same about the new and far more complex CSCR, although I will withhold final judgement until it's in my hands)...

I think species will be forced to spend at least half their available points on physical or homeworld traits, just to keep things fair, but I am still on the fence about that. I'd actually prefer that we leave jump lanes somewhat abstracted- since they are the default I'd prefer the 'science' behind them be capable of being morphed to fit a variety of games. Are you using a jump lane network for the non-eldar players? (From memory, WH40K would seem to use something like the hex-based movement system described in the Moderators Companion), If you wanted to include the webway then you could give the eldar their own webmap for their own use - whether they ...
