Any chance VBAM 2.0 will have a online component to assist players and CMs?

Andy's Campaign

Howdy! After a long winter (here in the south) I put a end to the ongoing campaign I've been running since late last year. I don't have the time commitment anymore to run it as usual, so I decided to end it. It was 36 turns, with 7 players using Menagerie races. I'll disclose the whole campaign file...

If you're willing to have that extra workload for that specific aspect, go for it. It surely makes for a more detailed approach to handling communications and movement, depending on the number of players it may be just fine. Anyways is good to ask the players. Are they willing to have the turns slow...

From what I understand, the CR limits the number of squadrons you have active during combat, the excess squadrons being kept in reserve, but nothing says you can start with just one squadron and keep everything else in reserve. The CR should be a limit "up to", not a requisite must have. E...

Very interesting.

How does multiplayer works in Aurora, what are the limits?

Interesting approach. I'm allowing my players to invest up to 200% of planetary output in tech to auto advance 2 tech years. Speeds up the game and makes them spend more EPs on research. (Exploration campaign it is)

It's not like you guys don't have anything to do, but I'd love to see a VBAM Battlestations. It will be great when the Battlestations Fleet Admiral is out.

"Colony Fleets" will keep Census in space while these Fabrication and Extraction ships/fleets will be related to Productivity, limited by Census. Is that it? I think it's a good idea. Does it also represents remote mining? A fleet of civvie ships that effectively transport a RAW out of a p...

Howdy!

Are there Starmada (or any other tactical system) stats for the ships in the Menagerie?

With the Wartime Economy rules, I think a rule was introduced somewhere that made it so that a wartime economy would reset to Peacetime after there hadn't been a military engagement in X number of turns -- can't remember if it was 6 or 12. The player then can't gear up again for a similar period of...

Yeah. But in a robotic race, it becomes dangerous. Very dangerous.

Well, it's not a http://boardgamegeek.com/image/110165 type of game, but detailed rules for handling flight action can be done. Endurance rule seems very appropriate. Assuming that after END turns, the flight must spend 1 turn in their carriers/motherships, if you have only END=1 (or DV=1) flights, ...
